ALERT DAY: All forms of severe weather are on the table this afternoon into the evening. The time frame for these storms is between the hours of 1 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Morning storm and downpours will be possible but these storms will be non-severe.  Once they move out we should get into some sunshine in the middle half of the morning and early afternoon. This will actually not be a good thing.

All forms of severe weather will be on the table including tornadoes.  Most of the area is under the “Enhanced risk” for severe storms.  However, from Seymour south in is a “Moderate Risk.” While severe storms could happen anywhere, the further south looks to be the better potential for the worst of the weather.

The severe threat should end by about 10 p.m.

Rain chances will continue off and on through the weekend and the showers could be quite steady on Saturday.  Both days will feature high temperatures below normal as well will struggle to get to the 80-degree mark.
