Shooting Near Fishers Restaurant

The 21-year-old man shot was listed in critical condition and police are still searching for a suspect

FISHERS, Ind. – A man was shot near a restaurant in Fishers Thursday evening.

Fishers Police Public Information Officer said the shooting happened along State Road 37, in back of Which Wich sandwich restaurant around 7:15 p.m.

The 21-year-old man shot was listed in critical condition and police are still searching for a suspect who left the scene in a blue passenger vehicle.

"It's a pretty heavily populated area so we're hoping that somebody may have been in the area that may have seen something or heard something and we're asking them to call the Hamliton County Dispatch center at (317) 773-1282," said Tom Weger of Fishers Police Department.

Officers said they aren’t sure the motive behind the shooting.
