Shots Fired At Car, Woman Injured

A woman was driven to the hospital Monday morning after she was shot in the head and the chest. 

The shooting apparently happend and 34th and Hovey at about 3:45a-m. 

Police say the woman was driving on the north side with two other people.  Then several shots were fired, raining in through the driver's door and window hitting the woman in the face and chest. 

Someone else in the car took the wheel and drove to the hospital. The woman is in critical condition.

There are no details at this point on the identity of the victim, or whether this was a random shooting.
