Uber Driver Shot In Indy During Road Rage Incident

Police say the driver is in the hospital after someone in a black Dodge Charger cut him off, then started shooting at him.

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Uber driver is in the hospital after police say he was shot in a road rage incident Thursday night. 

IMPD says it started near 46th and Evanston around 11 p.m. Thursday.  Investigators say a black Dodge Charger cut off the driver then started shooting at him.  The driver later showed up at the fire station at 42nd and College to ask for help.

The driver was hit once in the side and was taken to Eskenazi Hospital according to Metro Police.

Police are asking anyone with information about seeing a black Dodge Charger in that area during that time should contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
