VALPARAISO, Ind. — An Indiana woman was arrested after she dragged a salon employee across a parking lot when she was unhappy with the work done on her nails, police say.

Charley Fowler, 28, complained to employees at the Diamond & Nails Spa in Valparaiso, according to the Times of Northwest Indiana.

The employees of the spa told police said she was unhappy about the work done to her nails, and refused an offer to have them redone. As police were called, Fowler left the business without paying the $30 due and began backing out of her parking spot.

Fowler later told police she intended to wait for officers in the parking lot, but decided to leave when employees started beating on her windows. She said she left and stopped at a nearby restaurant.

Police say the surveillance video shows an employee following Fowler as she backed out. The employee was reportedly dragged by Fowler across the parking lot, the Times reported.

Fowler was arrested on preliminary charges of theft and criminal recklessness, according to a police report.
