Woman Found Dead Outside Home on Indianapolis' Northeast Side

The woman was found unresponsive and pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are investigating after a woman was found dead outside a home on Indianapolis' northeast side Monday evening. 

Officers were called to the 2800 block of Anna Lane around 10:30 p.m. 

When they arrived they found an unresponsive woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The woman's identity and cause of death have not been released. 

Police have not said if foul play is suspected. 

The death remains under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
