The Hancock County Sheriff's Office says a woman from Indianapolis was found dead in a cornfield near the Marion County line.

Detective Sergeant Trent Smoll with the sheriff's office says the body of Katrina Miller, 23, was discovered around 9:00pm Thursday by two boys riding bicycles near the intersection of County Road 350 North and Carroll Road, which is also County Road 800 West.  The location is near the Indianapolis Regional Airport in the Mount Comfort area.  The body appears to have been in the cornfield at least a couple of days, and Smoll says the department used fingerprints to determine Miller's identity.

Smoll says an autopsy will determine the cause of death and says it is too early to tell whether Miller was murdered.
