Calm Returning To Riot-Rocked Ferguson, Missouri

(Ferguson, MO) -- Things are looking much different in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson. Missouri Highway Patrol Captain Ron Johnson called last night a good one and noted his men didn't use any tear gas on protesters, didn't use road blocks, and didn't make any arrests. He said after four nights of violence, his patrolmen are focusing on both protecting property and the right to freedom of speech, and that respect and communication are the key to the change. He called yesterday an example of how things can be and how they should be. His comments came after this morning's release of the name of the officer who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown last weekend. Darren Wilson is a six-year veteran of the police force with no prior disciplinary issues.
