Christie Leads GOP Presidential Prospects In New Hampshire

(Trenton, NJ) -- A new poll shows New Jersey Governor Christie leading potential Republican presidential candidates where it matters. The WMUR Granite State Poll of people in New Hampshire finds Christie, the head of the Republican Governors Association, enjoying 19-percent support. He's followed by Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky with 14-percent. Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush comes in third at eleven percent.
The survey notes Christie leads the pack where the country's first presidential primary is held unless former GOP Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney decides to enter the race. Christie trails the former Massachusetts Governor 39 to seven percent.
