Cyber Thieves Get Data On 145-Million eBay Customers

(Undated) -- EBay is still getting around to notifying its 145-million users about a massive security breach. EBay's global marketplaces chief says the company moved quickly to disclose the breach once it realized cyber thieves got into customers' information. The company is now in the process of sending emails to all eBay users. Hackers accessed the email addresses and encrypted passwords of all eBay users by accessing the information of three corporate employees. The company is continuing to investigate, but says no financial information was exposed.
