FAA Restricts U.S. Airlines From Flying Over Iraq

(Washington, DC) -- The FAA is ordering U.S. airlines to avoid flying over Iraq indefinitely. The FAA cites the "hazardous situation created by the armed conflict" in Iraq. The security of airline routes came to light after an airliner was shot down weeks ago over Ukraine.
