Girl Who Accidentally Shot Instructor Says Uzi Was Too Powerful

(Kingman, AZ) -- The girl who accidentally shot and killed a gun instructor in Arizona says the Uzi she was being trained to fire was too powerful. According to a sheriff's report, the girl told her mother the submachine gun was too much for her to handle and it had hurt her shoulder. Charles Vacca was killed last week while he showed the nine-year-old girl how to fire the weapon. The Uzi's recoil caused the girl to lose control of the weapon and Vacca was struck by at least one bullet in the head.
