Government Resources Will Be Diverted To Deal With Border Crisis

(Washington, DC) -- The federal government will soon be scrambling to divert resources to pay for ongoing operations at the Southwest border.
Presidential spokesman Josh Earnest put the blame on lawmakers for failing to address the border crisis before departing on their August recess. Several weeks ago, President Obama asked Congress for nearly four-billion dollars in emergency funding to help deal with the surge of Central American migrants. Earnest said lawmakers utterly failed to fulfill some basic responsibilities before heading off on vacation.
