Lightning Kills One, Injures Seven In Colorado

(Estes Park, CO) -- A woman is dead and seven other people were injured after being hit by lightning in Colorado's Rocky Mountain Park Friday afternoon. The group was struck while hiking the Ute Crossing Trail in the park northwest of Denver. A park official said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The others were taken to nearby Estes Park Medical Center.
