Police To ID Officer Who Shot Teen In St. Louis Suburb

(Ferguson, MO) -- Ferguson, Missouri Police are about to release the name of the officer who shot and killed a teenager in the mostly-black St. Louis suburb. Ferguson has been the scene of violent protests since unarmed teenager Michael Brown was killed over the weekend. Demonstrations were peaceful on Thursday, after Governor Jay Nixon put the Missouri Highway Patrol in charge of security. Nixon calls the release of the officer's name an important hurdle to get over.
