Suspect In Houston Area Shooting Surrenders

(Spring, TX) -- A standoff near Houston involving someone suspected of killing six people is over. The suspected gunman surrendered to police after sitting in his car for about four hours. It all started early this evening when the suspect shot seven people in a subdivision of Spring. The dead are four children and two adults. Authorities had the suspect pinned between two SWAT vehicles while they attempted to negotiate with him. It isn't known what sparked the violence.
