Teen Survivor Of Texas Shooting Speaks At Family Memorial

(Spring, TX) -- The teenage survivor of a mass shooting in Texas that left her entire family dead is being credited for her bravery. Fifteen-year-old Cassidy Stay spoke to hundreds of friends and supporters at a memorial in the town of Spring today. She said she takes comfort in knowing her parents and four siblings are in "a much better place" and that she will "see them again one day." Stay survived by playing dead after she was grazed by a bullet allegedly fired by her ex uncle . She was able to call 911 to alert police that Ron Haskell was on his way to shoot her grandparents.
