Tropical Storm Batters Big Island Of Hawaii

(Undated) -- Tropical Storm Iselle is battering the Big Island of Hawaii with strong winds and heavy rain. Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie said the storm is expected to dissipate fairly quickly, but residents shouldn't let their guard down yet. In a news briefing, Abercrombie said state and federal disaster officials are prepared to start fully assessing damage as soon as possible. He also cited close coordination with Red Cross officials on needs at storm shelters.
