Trump Signs Massive Tax Bill Into Law

WASHINGTON -- The Republican tax bill is now the law of the land.

President Trump signed the massive bill before heading to his Mar-a-Lago estate for the holidays.

The measure slashes the corporate tax rate from 35-21 percent.

Republicans say all income classes will see tax cuts but Democrats argue that the bill primarily benefits the wealthy.

It is also projected to add more than one-trillion dollars to the federal deficit over 10 years.

Trump also signed the continuing resolution that will keep the government open through January 19. The measure includes $4 billion for missile defense.
