Washinton State Wildfire Destroys 80 Homes

(Seattle, WA) -- Hundreds of people are being evacuated as a raging wildfire east of Washington state's Cascade Mountains continues to burn. Emergency officials say at least 80 homes have been destroyed. The entire population of the town of Pateros, about 120 miles northeast of Seattle is under mandatory evacuation. Washington and Oregon have both declared states of emergency because of wildfires that have scorched thousands of acres.
