Congress Looks Into Ebola Crisis

(Washington, DC) -- Congress is looking into the growing Ebola crisis in West Africa. The House convenes a hearing this afternoon on combating the deadly Ebola virus. The top witness will be Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Dr. Tom Frieden. The CDC is giving the Ebola outbreak its highest alert. The "level 1 activation," is reserved for the most dangerous public health emergencies. Hundreds of CDC employees have shifted their focus to the outbreak that's killed close to a thousand people in Africa.
