Colts' Center Ryan Kelly To Miss Start Of Regular Season

Coach Chuck Pagano told reporters Thursday morning that center Ryan Kelly is having foot surgery, but did not give a timetable for when he would be ready to return.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- More bad news for the Indianapolis Colts as coach Chuck Pagano told reporters Thursday morning that center Ryan Kelly is having foot surgery and will miss the start of the season.  Pagano did not give a timetable for when Kelly would be able to return.

Kelly was a first round draft pick last year for the Colts and started all 16 games as a rookie.

Meanwhile, it is still uncertain whether Andrew Luck will be well enough to play when the season kicks off against the Rams Sept. 10.  Luck had shoulder surgery earlier this year and is on the team's physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
