The Indianapolis Colts and their disappointed fans have flown home from Miami.

Listen:

The players were quickly whisked away by bus. Their was no greeting at the airport and there will be parade or pep rally to celebrate the season that ended in a disappointing loss to the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl XLIV.

But the fans who accompanied the team told us they're looking forward to next year.

"As General MacArthur said at Corregidor, we will return!," said one gray-haired fan with his bags in hand. He and others insisted it was not the better team that won, although several fans admitted that the Saints were better when it counted.

"I think we made some mistakes," said one fan as he adjusted his blue cap adorned with a Colts horseshoe.

That man and his companions said they're glad they won't have to listen to the "Who Dat" chant again anytime soon. But most also complimented the Saints fans.

"There were some obnoxious ones of course and there's obnoxious Colts fans," said one woman. "We got back last night and they came and greeted us and said sorry, sorry---we liked you guys so much!"
