No Definitive Answer to Madonna/Super Bowl Rumor
Various online sources are reporting that Madonna has been slated to perform at the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show come February 5 in Indy.
However, the Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee isn't confirming.
Spokesperson Dianna Boyce says she hasn't heard anything definitive yet. Boyce says official word will come from the National Football League.
Madonna has been on the halftime show radar in the past. One year she bailed at the last minute and another year, the two sides couldn't reach a deal.
If she does perform, she'll join other stellar acts over the past decade. Those include Faith Hill, John Legend, Keith Urban, Alicia Keys and Maroon 5, among others.
