Despite a downtown entertainment hub's closing, it won't sit empty during the Super Bowl next year.

BMG, which specializes in event management, is leasing the Jillian's complex during the Super Bowl.

Pat Sechrist is with BMG and says the multi-story building at 141 S. Meridian has 40,000 square feet and is located in the heart of the Super Bowl district.

"We're in the first phases of getting our hands on the space and getting it out to some of our larger NFL clients and corporate clients, some of the bigger players that come into town for the Super Bowl." he says their clients are thrilled," he said.

Sechrist says the company clients are thrilled about the opportunity.

"They are extremely happy to have such a great space and with how condensed everything is going to be over Super Bowl time, it's just a perfect location, it's a great building and obviously it's in a prime spot," he explained.

Jillians recently closed and is in the process of auctioning what's left inside the building.
