IU's Music Band Director David Woodley will make his mark on the upcoming Super Bowl.

The Marching Hundred will be part of the halftime show entertainment during Super Bowl 2012 in Indy. Woodley says the producer called him about a week ago and asked if he'd be interested in providing some of the musical entertainment. Woodley says he didn't hesitate to say "Yes," a move which went over very well with the band.

He says they're waiting to hear from Madonna about whether or not she'd like the band to be part of her half show performance. Woodley says during drill formations they plan to play one of their specialties, "Sing, Sing Sing" during the big show.
