The attorney for suspended IMPD Officer David Bisard has filed a motion asking a judge to block testing of a second vial of blood drawn from the officer in his reckless homicide case.
As our news gathering partners at RTV6 first reported, attorney John Kautzman says in the motion that there is no doubt the blood sample has been compromised now that IMPD admitted to mishandling the vial of blood last month.
Prosecutors wanted to use the blood to prove Bisard was drunk when his police car struck and killed a motorcyclist in August 2010.
