The stakes are high, too. This is the last trial before we know who goes to London to represent the U.S.. Ty Kachanuk came all the way from Phoenix and says he thinks his discus Ability will get him there. "I'm competeing in the shotput discus and javeline. I'm trying to go to London on the disc."
Athletes with disabilities traveled from all over the world to come to IUPUI and compete. Julie O'Neil with the U.S. Olympic Committee says there is a wide range of sports, including "your field shot, discus, javeline, long jump, triple jump, and then your events on the track, 100 meters 200 meters, 400 meters."
