Firefighters in Morgan County are working to extinguish a large hay fire.

The fire broke out around 4:30 Monday afternoon after a tree fell on a power line which landed onto several bales of hay. The fire began near State Road 67 south of Martinsville. A portion of the highway has been shut down due to smoke.

No injuries have been reported in the fire. Morgan County Sheriff's dispatch says it's unsure how long it will take to completely extinguish the fire.
