Police have arrested a former Shelbyville Middle School teacher accused of having sex with at least one student and providing drugs and alcohol to "several" others.

Police said Bethany Appleton, 28, committed the crimes in spring 2011 -- and at times may have smoked marijuana and consumed alcohol with students.
