Indiana's lieutenant governor is honoring the state's long time farming families.
Listen:
Becky Skillman met with dozens of families who have owned farms for over 100 years. June Mardis Wood has been part of a Johnson county farm that's been operating since 1906 and says this years drought doesn't compare to the depression era, but it has hit their farm pretty hard.
June says she's hopeful the farm will keep going for another century as they try to keep their Johnson County corn crop, from being parched.
