Indiana will not escape the reach of Hurricane Sandy.
National Weather Service meteorologist Crystal Pettet said the hurricane will push strong winds into the state.
"(Winds) will be picking up as early as (Monday) afternoon. We've actually got a Wind Advisory in effect until 8 p.m. on Tuesday," Pettet said.
Winds will roar about 30-MPH with gusts up to 50-MPH.
Pettet said she has never seen a storm like Hurricane Sandy in its current location at this time of year.
She said the storm is the talk of the weather service office.
