A Cincinnati man, Jasen Snelling, has been sentenced to 40 yars in prison on a conviction of securities fraud and theft.
An investigation by the Indiana Secretary of State's office found that Snelling sold unregistered securities and used victims' funds for personal expenses. Investors lost more than $3-million in Dearborn and Franklin Counties in southeast Indiana.
Secretary of State Connie Lawson congratulates Franklin County Prosecutor Mel Wilhelm for what she calls a "tremendous victory."
