Explosion Victims Laid To Rest

The victims in the neighborhood explosion on the south side of Indianapolis were laid to rest Monday.

A memorial mass was held at 10 a.m. at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis.

John "Dion" Longworth, who worked at Indy Audio Labs, and Jennifer Longworth, a second-grade teacher at Greenwood's Southwest Elementary School, lived next to the home that exploded in the Richmond Hill subdivision November 10.

Greenwood Schools canceled classes Monday at Southwest Elementary School so staff members and students can attend the funeral.

Dion's employer, Indy Audio Labs, and the couple's families have established an educational fund through the Central Indiana Community Foundation.
