Starting Monday, November 19th Indiana residents can stay at any one of 20 hotels in Indy at half their normal rates through Visit Indy's "Hoosier Holidays" promotion.

Chris Gahl with Visit Indy says booking a stay at one of the discounted hotels also unlocks other discounts from museums, theaters and other attractions.

With proof of an Indiana driver’s license, discounted stays can be booked at hotels like the JW Marriott, the Omni Severin Hotel and the Sheraton Indianapolis Keystone Crossing. Once people check-in, those Indiana residents will get discounts to holiday events and attractions such as an Indiana Repertory Theatre production of A Christmas Carol or a Beef and Boards Theatre dinner and show. Other discounts include admission to Eiteljorg Museum and their annual Jingle Rails exhibit and admission to the Indianapolis Zoo.

Gahl says the program runs through January 6th, 2013, and you can only book the discounted trips online at www.VisitIndy.com/HoosierHolidays.
