Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officials arrived this (Monday) morning on the scene of a plane crash that killed four people in Decatur County.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims who died when the plane went down late Sunday night.
Investigators say the plane was about two miles south of the Greensburg airport Sunday night when it was cleared to approach, but the aircraft lost contact shortly after that and no landing was reported. Authorities searched by air and on the ground for the plane, but fog in the area initially made it difficult to find.
The FAA will work to stabilize the aircraft and begin recovery of the victims.
