The Children's Museum is all blue. Hundreds of families are taking part in "Light the Town Blue" Community Day.
It's the first 2013 city-wide celebration of the Indianapolis Colts playoff run. Colts players, cheerleaders and mascot Blue turned out for the big event.
"We have so many kids and young fans who are able to come. It's so cold outside, but it's warm in here. There's Blue and Colts apparel everywhere. Everyone has their Colts tee shirts on," says Colts Spokesperson Stephanie Pemberton.
Pemberton says they're simply sharing playoff excitement with kids with all sorts of special fun and games especially for the day. Children's Museum CEO Jeff Patchen says the entire museum is blue with a blue water clock, blue scarf on their snow globe bear and the first five thousand guests get a free Colts playoff poster and globe blue stick. In addition, he says kids can enjoy faux indoor snowball fights with some Colts players. Colts activities continue until 2 pm. The museum remains open until 5 pm.
