An Alabama man is in custody following the death of his two-year-old son in Noblesville.

Noblesville Police were called to the Autumn Breeze Apartments just before 5 p-m Wednesday on a report of a stabbing.  When they arrived, officers found two-year-old Michael Harrison suffering from trauma to the head.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  

After questioning witnesses, Lt. Bruce Barnes says officers arrested the boy's father, 30-year-old Micah William Harrison.  Barnes says Harrison and his son were both from Robertsdale, Alabama.

Micah Harrison is being held in the Hamilton County Jail on a preliminary charge of murder.  Barnes says the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office will review the investigation and make a determination on formal charges.
