A jury trial date has been set for an Alabama man charged with murder in the brutal stabbing death of his two-year-old son.
Listen:
Hamilton County Chief Deputy Prosecutor Andre Miksha says Micah William Harrison faces trial March 12th. This after little Michael Harrison's grandmother told Noblesville Police she witnessed Micah stabbing the toddler repeatedly with a kitchen knife in a bedroom at the in the Autumn Breeze apartments Wednesday afternoon. The boy died by the time medical personnel arrived. They say he suffered stab wounds in his chest and forehead.
Pamela Harrison says the stabbing happened after 30-year-old Harrison stated that someone or something was trying to kill him and he started beating on a utility closet door with a claw hammer. Pamela told police she was able to grab the hammer away from Harrison and went to hide it in her bedroom. Upon returning, she says that's when she saw Micah stabbing the boy.
