Flashes of red may have been spotted in downtown Indianapolis.

Men and women gathered Monday morning in dresses to run around the circle for the 'The Red Dress Dash' in support of women's heart health.

According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the Number one killer of women.

The association will be hosting other events around the state in February to encourage people to learn more about heart disease and how they can prevent it.
