Greenwood Police Searching for Bank Robbery Suspect

Greenwood Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing the BMO Harris Bank branch in the 1600 block of Meridian Oaks Drive Monday afternoon.
Police say a white male in his mid-20's to early 30's entered the bank around 4:00, pushed past a customer at the counter and produced a large black handgun. The suspect pointed the gun at the teller and demanded the money in the teller's hands and the money in the cash drawer. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect stuffed the money into the front pockets of the black hooded sweatshirt he was wearing and fled the bank. He was last seen heading north from the bank on foot.
