The head of the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute says President Obama's State of the Union address brought all of the country's issues to the forefront, and now action is needed by lawmakers.
President Obama said that while Americans don't expect government to solve all the nation's problems, they do expect the parties to work together. That may be easier said than done.
"there is a physiological divide, but lawmakers have to find a balanced plan so the economy can start growing at a faster rate, and a broader rate" says John Ketzenberger.
