The City-County Council has approved the appointments of two Indianapolis Public Safety Leaders. The Council approved the Mayor's appointment of Troy Riggs as Public Safety Director, and Rick Hite as IMPD Chief on Monday night.

Both Riggs and Hite were unanimously approved by council members.

The Council also approved the reappointment of Department of Public Works Director Lori Miser.
