A home burglar alarm led to a drug bust in Indianapolis Wednesday night. IMPD was called to the 1900 block of Cross Willow Lane and found an open back door and a broken window to a home.

Officers searched the house for suspects and smelled marijuana. They found a large amount of marijuana inside a bedroom closet. Officers confiscated six large marijuana plants, 27 handguns, 5 rifles, a shotgun, and several rounds of ammunition. As officers were inside the house, the homeowner return and was taken into custody.

52-year old George Schlemmer is preliminarily charged with dealing and possessing marijuana. He was booked into the Arrestee Processing Center on a $7,500 bond.
