IMPD Officer Faces More Drunk Driving Charges
More charges have been filed against suspended IMPD Officer David Bisard. Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry has filed an OWI with a B.A.C. over .15 against Bisard. The new charge follows his arrest on Saturday in Lawrence. Bisard's truck hit a guardrail and a light post in the 10000 block of Indian Lake Boulevard South.

His B.A.C. was tested at .22 following the accident. Police also found an open vodka bottle and a McDonald's cup containing vodka and cranberry juice. A probable cause affidavit states that Bisard admitted to drinking alcohol.
Bisard has been suspended without pay since an August 2010 crash that killed Eric Wells and seriously injured two others. Marion County Deputy Prosecutor Denise Robinson says they've filed a motion for Bisard to be held without bond.
An IMPD spokesman says Bisard will remain suspended without pay pending the outcome of litigation.
