IBEW Volunteers Prepping Circle of Lights
It's time for The Circle of Lights.
IBEW Local 481 electrical workers and volunteers are in the midst of hanging 52 strands of holiday lights at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis.
IBEW's David Ray says they're continuing with the tradition of "World's Largest Christmas Tree" that began in 1962. This year is the 51st year and two hundred volunteers are expected to help out. 100,000 people are expected to attend the lighting ceremony on the day after Thanksgiving. They'll finish hanging the lights by Saturday afternoon.
