Howard: Honda's Natural Gas Move a Good One
By Eric Berman
11/19/2008

Consumer advocate Clark Howard is applauding Honda's decision to make cars fueled entirely by natural gas inside its Greensburg, Indiana, plant.

The financial expert and self-made millionaire told The WIBC Morning News he used to own a Honda CX -- the same model that will be produced 2,000 times next year in Decatur County.

He says the cars put out no pollution and drive like regular Honda Civics. Howard also believes natural gas vehicles will help the U.S. reduce its dependence on foreign oil.

The Honda CX has an 8-gallon fuel tank that costs about $16 to refill at Indianapolis natural gas stations.

"The Clark Howard Show" airs weeknights on WIBC from 8 to 11.
