WIBC: The News and Talk of Indianapolis

Charlie Dee

WIBC Producer Charlie Dee is one person who could be called a "Jack of All Trades and Master of All of Them." Charlie is the mid-day producer for Indianapolis Today - Live At Noon. He's the maestro who makes sure you hear all the elements of each show.

In addition to being a producer at WIBC, Charlie also has production duties at the station. He makes sure WIBC promos and jingles get produced and put in the proper place. He also works with WIBC engineers to make sure all the equipment operates properly for remote broadcasts. And, if that's not enough, Charlie writes a monthly arts column for wibc.com.

Charlie joined WIBC in 1993 as a weekend producer. After moving to weekdays, he became the producer for Jeff Pigeon and the Morning Team as well as WIBC's mid-day shows. He also worked at one of our FM sister stations as an oldies DJ.

Charlie came to WIBC from WSYY radio in Maine. That was where he learned the "radio craft" as an announcer, DJ, and newsman.

Charlie Dee was born and raised in New York City and graduated from City University of New York.
