Kroger Invests $3.6 Million In Its Martinsville Location

The upgrade will give customers more options to choose from when shopping

MARTINSVILLE, Ind--Kroger is investing $3.6 million to the renovation of its location in Martinsville.  

Friday morning, Kroger's Central Division cut the ribbon to celebrate the renovation the store at 1600 S. Ohio in Martinsville. Division President Pam Matthews said, "our investment makes it even easier for our Morgan County customers to enjoy our Kroger quality, selection, and value." 

Kroger also gave a series of check presentations before the ribbon-cutting. They are giving $500 each to the Desert Rose Foundation, Martinsville Crimewatch, Habitat for Humanity of Morgan County, and $500 for the training and equipping of the K-9 Division at the Morgan County Sheriff's Office. And, in recognition of its service to hurricane victims in Texas and Florida, Kroger will present a check worth more than $200,000 to the American Red Cross. 

The upgrade will allow shoppers to enjoy an expanded deli and bakery, expanded dairy section, greater selection of natural foods, a Bistro restaurant featuring chicken, pizza, and sushi, and ClickList (an online shopping service).
