Garry Evans was unresponsive when police got to his house Friday night.

RUSHVILLE, Ind.--A Rushville pastor accused of molesting several young girls, may have tried to kill himself Friday night, after new charges were added.

Evans was taken to a hospital in Rushville, then airlifted to a hospital in Indianapolis.

Police did not discuss details about his possible suicide attempt.

Evans, 72, is accused of luring a number of girls into his office at the church with candy, even touching them or having them touch him.

He's due back in court Nov. 28.
